Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Propozal (“Propozal”, “we”, “us”), an AI-powered proposal generation platform. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. Service Description

Propozal lets users create, customize, send, and track professional business proposals, including AI-assisted content generation, electronic signature, PDF export, and analytics. We may add, modify, or remove features at any time to improve the service.

2. User Accounts and Responsibilities

  • You must provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date.
  • You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and all activity under your account.
  • You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction.
  • You are solely responsible for the content of the proposals you create and send.

3. Subscriptions and Billing

Paid plans are billed through our payment processor, Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges to your payment method until you cancel. Plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period. The 14-day free trial, where offered, converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled before it ends. One-time purchases (e.g. the Lifetime Deal) are non-recurring. Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time from the billing settings.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive purposes;
  • Generate or distribute content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, or harmful;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service, other accounts, or our systems;
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the service or its APIs;
  • Resell or sublicense the service without our written permission.

5. Intellectual Property

Propozal and its software, branding, and design are owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain full ownership of the proposal content you create. By using the AI features, you grant us a limited license to process your inputs solely to provide the service. We claim no ownership over your business content.

6. Limitation of Liability

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Propozal shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

7. Termination

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or use the service in a way that risks harm to us or other users. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately; provisions that by their nature should survive (e.g. IP, liability) will survive.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of France and applicable European Union regulations. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of France, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rights you may have in your country of residence.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notice. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
